Taking baby steps (just for fun)

I'm here, world. My first blog post. Will I remember where I was on this momentous occasion for the rest of my days.? Incidentally, I'm propped up in bed between mounds of blankets with a cup of spiced tea and a box of tissues, nursing my first cold of the year. Only three weeks into the semester and already I'm falling victim to too much germ exposure. Actually, I suspect I got this one from my 16 year old: My 16 who got his driver's license today!! That makes two momentous events in one day. Talk about entering a new era...
